I offer compassionate support to individuals from all walks of life, and I welcome you exactly as you are. With experience working with both adults and children, including those in critical care settings, as well as members of immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities, my practice is grounded in respect, empathy, and inclusivity. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity-related questions, stress, grief, burnout, or life transitions, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported. Every person’s story is unique and important, and it’s a true honour to walk alongside each client on their path to healing, clarity, and self-understanding.
Book AppointmentIn my practice, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. I believe in the power of your personal story and use Narrative Therapy to help you explore and re-author the narratives that shape your life. Together, we work to uncover strengths and insights that may be hidden in your experiences, helping you gain a new perspective on your challenges. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and transform unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. By understanding the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and actions, we can develop practical strategies to manage anxiety, depression, and other concerns more effectively. Using Solution-Focused Therapy, I emphasize your inherent resilience and focus on what’s already working in your life. Together, we set clear, achievable goals and build on your existing strengths to create positive change in the present and future. Finally, I integrate Mindfulness Practice to promote a sense of calm and presence. By developing awareness of the present moment, you can reduce stress, increase emotional regulation, and cultivate greater self-compassion. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, aimed at empowering you to take control of your life, embrace change, and move toward greater well-being.

My academic and professional journey has been guided by a deep interest in people — how we think, feel, grow, and relate to the world around us. I'm a UBC alumna who holds a Master of Science in Psychology (MSc - Psych), which forms the clinical foundation of my counselling practice. My earlier studies in Education (MA) and Literature (BA) have deeply influenced the way I listen, reflect, and connect with my clients’ stories. I also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Career Counselling, which adds an additional layer to my work with clients navigating identity, life transitions, and purposeful direction. In addition to my formal education, I regularly engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay grounded in evidence-based practices and to continually deepen my understanding of trauma, emotion, and healing.
To offer effective, current, and compassionate care, I regularly take part in specialized clinical trainings led by experts in trauma, neuroscience, mindfulness, and mental health. The 'Professional Development' section offers a selection of the continuing education programs I completed for years 2024–2025.

Becoming a therapist has been a lifelong dream of mine, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to follow my passion in helping others. My journey began with formal training, where I not only gained knowledge and skills but also developed a deep understanding of the human experience. During my early career, I had the privilege of working as a teacher, which allowed me to foster empathy, patience, and active listening—qualities I bring into my therapeutic practice today. My focus in every session is to create a safe, warm, and compassionate environment, where you are truly valued, heard, and seen for exactly who you are. Through this space, I aim to facilitate healing and growth by supporting you on your personal journey.
My goal in daily work is to create a space in our relationship where there is room for your emotions, your story, challenges, strengths, resources, understanding, connection, support, and solutions. In my view, you are not a collection of deficits, but rather a source of strengths waiting to be discovered and named. I see my clients as individuals striving for growth, capable of change, with their own unique identity that should never be overlooked.
Together, we’ll work to meet your unique needs and empower you on your path to well-being.
